Open Question: How can i lose weight safely and quickly?

I am a 15 year-old male and I've struggled with weight issues almost my whole life. I recenntly went on the HCG drops diet and it works great, but I always end up cheating and ruining it. I only want to lose 25-35 llbs. So how could I go about losing weight safely because of my age and quickly? Open Question: Can a person loose fat just as effectively by lifting?

I hate cardio but I love lifting and doing the assistance machines. Can I burn just as many calories by weight training as running? obviously I still run, usually a mile warm up. I'm not super fat. 21 female 5'6" 140 size 28 or 7s. I just have more fat on my stomach and love handles than I care for. (read more)

Open Question: How can I change my horrible bodyy !!!!!?

I'm 5'5 213 pounds 16 and a female ! I'm soooo freaking fat and ugly, I have stretch marks on my arms and hips, I have cellulite on my arms and legs, I have a black ring around my neck, eyes and belly button and between my legs bc my thighs rub together, I have a fat belly, long waist and long torso, I'm a pear shape but don't look like it because I'm so fat, I have side rolls and my boobs hang and I have acne not bad tho !!!! Open Question: Ways to loose belly fat?

I have a little belly fat and if I look to the side its terrible its not a lot but I still want it gone. i have been doing ab exercises because I am trying to tone my stomach before the summer. Before I start to tone my stomach I need to loose this belly fat and I don't want anyone telling me to take pills or do this ridiculous workout. I just want some simple exercises that I can do everyday and something that I can get up and be like I WANT to exercise. I heard hula- hooping works? Is that true? Open Question: Im 13 and i really need to lose weight like really bad What can i do?

Well basically all i eat is chicken patties with hot sauce and mayo on them like the tyson chicken patties so is that bad or is it ok and i have them on a hamurger roll And on the other side i was doing push ups and sit ups every day and i could do like 15 at a time and then i got sick for like a week with the flu and then i couldnt even do one push or SIT up So plzzzz And if i go to the y with my aunt or someone But like i usually do the stomache app cruncher bender thingy well i have like a lot of unwanted stomache fat and i want to get a flat stomache so i can feel better of myself and get abs plzz help me i hate it not wanting to take my shirt of in front of everyone even my own mom PLZZZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Open Question: Am I burning enough calories in the gym?

I go to the gym 3 times a week. I'd like to go more, but I have classes so I can't. Anyways, each time I go I burn around 900-1000 calories. (I do cardio and strength training) I'm 16. Female. 5'1. 135 pounds. My BMR is 1350-1400. The most I usually eat in a day is 900 calories. That's if I'm really hungry. On an average day I eat 700. (This is including what I eat and drink). It's not because I'm starving myself, but I'm just not hungry. If I eat when I'm not hungry I get sick and just throw it up. At this rate, how long would it take my to lose 20 pounds? Open Question: I got fat, could I lose it by eating less?

I was skinny in high school and well built i used to work out a lot, now ever since college I got put on medications for schizophrenia and depression and I havent been able to stop eating. I got class all day monday tuesday wednesday thrusday and work saturday night. I try to exercise in between. Is there anyway I can lose weight that doesnt emphasize on exercise. What works for you? I eat a lot of cereal, mainly special k. Would small changes like switching between 1% milk to skim milk make a big difference? Thank you (read more)

Open Question: How did I lose 40 pounds in 2 months?

I have always been really overweight, and I'm 16. I weighed in at 242 lbs. the last time I was at the doctor. Then I started working out every day, and then started coaching special olympics swimming as well. So 3-4 times a week, I ended up getting to the rec. center at about 2:30, did some eliptical/weight training for an hour, then stretched, then I usually just got something to eat and then hit the showers before swimming started at 5. then at 5 I was usually in the pool swimming for 2 hours. and on the days I didn't have this routine, I have an eliptical at home that I work out on for an hour. I also eat between 1000 and 1500 calories a day. And I went back to the doctor today, and I weighed 198. Is it normal for me to have dropped nearly 40 pounds in 2 months when I've done nothing but eating healthy, and exercising? (read more)

Open Question: If you over indulge food for one day will you gain weight?

Okay so i've been on a weight loss journey and I really dont want to ruin my progress, im 5'11 and 127 lbs today ive eaten: 2 plums, 1 piece of toast (75 calories), a small bowl of watermelon a few servings of penut butter, a peach, two bananas, a grilled cheese sandwich (200 calories) , a apple another piece of toast(75 calories), and a large serving of grapes and i am having a small chicken stir fry for dinner. Open Question: Tomorrow i'm starting the master cleanser diet, and I also bought some cleanser pills from Whole Foods..?

Open Question: Best ways to loose weight?

So I run 4 miles a week and then I work out every other day. I want to loose weight in my mid section but since I bench press around 240 I have a very big chest and large arms. I don't necessarily want to loose them. But yet again I do want a thinner waist. I was thinking of run 4 miles more then three times a week. Open Question: What would be a good way for a 13-14 year old to lose weight?

Ok so I'm 13 almost 14 this Saturday and this coming summer I'll want to tan but to do that I want to get into a swim suite body! Open Question: is it unhealthy eating like this?

first off I struggle with anorexia and I'm terrified of gaining weight. I don't want to again weight. I exercise everyday and I never eat fried food or sweets. I always eat salmon with veggies or tuna. Well today I ate some Quaker Oatmeal (Weight Control) with water and some fruit over it and for dinner I had some french onion soup with a slice of swiss cheese on top and NO bread in it but I did have a few saltines with it. Around 830pm I had some Quaker Oatmeal with water(140 calories) and since that didn't fill me up I ate about a cup of multi grain cheerios with light soy milk. Open Question: How to flatten your stomach?

I'm 5'4" and about 113 lbs, although it fluctuates. I'm pretty skinny, but my stomach is bothering me. It's not bad by any means, but I'd like it to be really flat and in-shape. Open Question: Am I emotionally eating?

I have noticed I eat when I negative feelings or stress. Although, when things are really bad I have no appetite at all, so it is hard to put myself into a solid category. I don't know if I am really eating out of emotion of stress, it could be a phase because I am only fourteen years of age. Sometimes when I, eat I feel gluttonous and like I am gonna eat a lot, but I take a bite and I feel disgusting. ( I get over this after I try not to think about this.) I am sick of feeling this way! I have also noticed when I am faced with a stressful task or situation I eat. When I made a bad desicion, I eat. What can I do? I don't want to feel disgusting and fiflthy when I eat, or gluttonous! My Grandmother claims it is my way of getting out of doing something, but in truth, I eat while I am committing to a task. Either way, it gets done, but maybe she is right.
