Well a couple weeks ago i went to the doctors. I was really excited to check how much i weighed. But when i saw how much i weighed i was in complete shock and completely disappointed in myself. i weighed 105. My BMI was in the overweight percentage But the doctor said i was overweight by a little not that much. i really want to go on a diet or workout everyday but it's really hard for me to stop eating junk food and fast food. Open Question: Craving caffeine so bad?

I'm 11 wks and 2 days along and ever since I found out I was pregnant at 5 wks, I've been off caffeine completely! But now I'm craving it so bad and I don't know what to do. I have morning sickness so bad, I can only eat anew items that are tasty enough. I've lost 15lbs since the beginning of my pregnancy, and I haven't been taking prenantals because I can't keep them down. Now I've gotten to the point where I'm drinking soda multiply times a day and I love it but still crave it! I'm concerned for my baby, but idk what to do. P.s. Open Question: Have you done/herd of the Juice Diet?

So I've herd about this Juice diet, where all you do is put fruit & veggies in a juicer and just drink the juice. No store bought juice. It's suppose to help reboot, cleanse your system and help loose weight. Im not really doing this to loose weight sense I'm 5'7 and 130 pounds but more of cleanse and rebooting my system. Open Question: Can you create a workout schedule for me?

I'm a skinny person and want to gain more muscle for sports, and looking good helps too. Here's what i've been doing so far. I'm going on 15, 5"6 or 7, and about 130lbs. For the past 9 days I've been doing about 20 bicep curls, 20 shoulder press, 13 lateral raise, 25 sit-ups, and 15 push ups (2 reps of the whole thing) with 8 lbs weights. Next week should i increase the amount with the same weights, or use heavier weights and do less. (read more)

Anyways, I really really need to know how to gain weight fast, I'm 13, turning 14 in October and I;m graduating middle school in June and we have to wear dresses but I HATE MY LEGS! They're literally bones, I never wear shorts in public like to the mall or anything and defenately not in school because people will call me anorexic. I used to wear about 7 pairs of leggings under my pants to make it look like some meat to my bones. It did work but my legs were so stiff, I could barley bend them and eventually my mom found out so she took them from me. Now I only wear about 3 pairs. The summer is comming really fast and I dont want to keep on wering jeans!! I promise this Is no joke, its not a lie I;m not making this up or anything like that. I have some extreme self-seteem issues. I developed a binged eating sorta thing because people cept calling me anorexic and i didnt want them to. I want to gain weigh fast in a healthy way Like in my arms and defenately my legs!!! Open Question: Is the lactase present in Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard protein powder sufficient enough?

I'm slightly lactose intolerant; meaning I get some extra gas when I drink milk, but no other symptoms. I like my powder with milk as opposed to water, but I heard that if milk doesn't digest well, some of the nutrients don't get absorbed. I want maximum absorption or near it, because protein is hard to come by and I want to use every serving to it's full potential. The last ingredient includes something called "Aminogen Lactase," which leaves me skeptical because the amount is minuscule. Open Question: Completely new to lifting weights; need some advice!?

Hello. So, I'm planning to work out this summer. I actually lost 30 pounds last summer by doing solely cardio. But this time around, I want to begin lifting weights. Anyone care to give me some advice. I have never lifted weights in my life, and I am pretty weak. I'll probably want to start lifting at only 50 pounds max; but I am seriously lost at where to begin. In case it matters, I am about 240 pounds. I plan to do cardio almost everyday again and lift weights 3 times a week. My intention is not to gain a ton of muscle, but rather just get toned. So does anyone have advice on which type of exercises I should do? Benching, free weights, etc. Also, what should my reps be? As I've said, I'm COMPLETELY new at all of this weight lifting stuff. Open Question: my HR runs very high 160-180 bpm (I am 35). What is a reasonable amount of time to do my cardio given my high?

My resting HR is also a bit tachycardic. Is working out for 45 min on the elliptical with a HR range of 160-180 too much? I dont' feel like I am going to pass out, but wonder if there are longterm problems that may occur. My goal is to lose weight and secondly improve cardiovascular endurance. Open Question: Muscle Relaxers, Do you lose strength?

It's been my first time working out in a few years. I started working out this monday, did all the upper body exercises and followed everything that my personal trainer had me do. Then I went back on tuesday, feeling some small muscle pains (Perfectly normal) and he told me it was best to do lower body exercises so I could get all my muscles used to the exercises again.. On wednesday I woke up and felt like crap I couldn't even move my arms at all.. Was feeling major upper body muscle pains.. I couldnt even talk on the phone or do any movement involving my upper body without feeling ALOT of pain (I wasn't feeling any lower body pains at all.. Just upper body). I know the first week is always the one where you are feeling most pain and it's really important for you to go in everyday so your muscles get used to the exercises, but I had no condition to even drive to my gym so I decided to stay home and take some Muscle Relaxers. Woke up on thursday feeling way better on the upper-body pains but I my legs felt like they were going to take a shit on me.. So i continued taking muscles relaxers throwout the day (1 pill every 6 hours) because i knew i had to go to the gym and put some work in.. So i finally started feeling way better and went to gym.. When I got there and finished my first exercise my arms felt like as if the muscles were locked and I felt tired.. I continued doing my exercises but I had NO strength at all to finish the sets.. I just wanted to know if the reason why I lost all my strength and what caused my muscles to "lock" up was the muscle relaxers, or the fact that I missed the 3rd day of workout and let my muscles "heal".. I'm sorry if im asking stupid questions but I have honestly been hearing different things from different people and wanted to know what my problem is so I can fix it. (read more)

I'm a 14 year old girl and I've had my period for almost 2 years now. I'm still the same height I was 2 years ago (5'1) and practically the same weight, too. Open Question: Why cant i Stop eating?

Im 16 years old 5'11 and 150lbs. Around 3 months ago i was at 174lbs and i went on a diet and everything was going okay. Then a week ago i started having these out of control food binges that i cannot control even though i feel guilty after. Open Question: I need help with my eating. please help?

Here's the details: I'm a guy, 16, 5'9'', and I weigh 163 lbs. I'm not fat, but I do have large chest and stomach :/ I play volleyball and swim also. I've been dealing with this for a while. It's reached a point where I'm sick of how if my friends all eat terribly and if I eat the same, I put on weight and they stay skinny. Here's why I think I have an actual problem: 1: I exercise at least an hour daily, and I still am at risk of being overweight 2: I cannot prevent myself from eating something if I have it in front of me. I always feel like I have to eat it. even if I convince myself not to. 3: I can't keep a diet going longer than a week. 4: I eat when I'm sad, and I hate to admit it, but I'm a pretty emotional guy 5: I feel guilty after I eat, and because of that, I convince myself its "too late" to take it back so I keep eating 6: If I already ate dinner, I'll still eat pizza at my friends house if they ordered it. And I'll eat a good deal of it too. 7: I'm sick of it, and I feel like I can't stop You may get the idea that I'm some pig who stuffs my mouth if I see food anywhere. but its not like that. I'm a clean eater. I just constantly eat and snack. I want to lose weight not only to feel good about myself, but to help my health, and sports performance. Should I get help? Is there a way to keep to a diet where I can indulge occasionally? and if that's the case, how do I keep myself from overindulging? thank you very much.
